"I began my journey as an acupuncturist more than 6 years ago when I had my first acupuncture treatment.  I was amazed at how good I felt afterward and how my body felt tangibly different.  From childhood, I had suffered from frequent colds and coughs, which often lingered and became bronchitis.  I decided to try using acupuncture and Chinese herbs on this problem and found it helped.  When the next cold became a cough I sought treatment and found it shortened the duration and severity of my cough and it did not become bronchitis.  I then began to use acupuncture to treat my general health.  I was then inspired to learn more about the medicine and become an acupuncturist.

As a practitioner, I am passionate about helping my patients. I have experience working with a variety of conditions, from the common cold to unexplained numbness and tingling, to women's health and fertility.  Acupuncture is also very useful for smoking cessation and is especially beneficial to the motivated quitter.  I also have experience and interest in helping seniors improve their health.  I started an acupuncture clinic at Chicago's White Crane Senior center in 2008.  I have worked with women having difficulty conceiving and have seen how acupuncture can  help.  I also enjoy helping people to realize how they can change their lifestyle and habits to improve their health - and that they can feel better and enjoy life."
